Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is hiring DSPs in Ohio. Training is provided in full; no prior experience required. The role focuses on direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, promoting independence and safety.

A vehicle, valid OH license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. We offer paid training, a benefits package for full-time employees, PTO, mileage reimbursement, annual pay increases, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – foster independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.
