Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Experience working with clients who need assistance with personal care.

Responsibilities

• Encourage clients to engage in day activities, outings, and community inclusion.
• Be engaged throughout the day with clients in activities or community outings.
• Assist clients in personal care such as toileting, changing briefs, occasionally bathing, feeding, and preparing meals as needed.
• Transfer clients using appropriate body mechanics and assistive equipment.
• Assist in meeting the transportation needs of clients including, assisting in loading, and unloading of clients in a safe and reliable manner.
• Complete required documentation for assigned clients.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with clients through fun and engaging activities that help the client’s everyday life, such as painting, pottery, sewing, outings, and so much more!
