CROSSROADS INC OF MUSCATINE in Muscatine, IA is hiring for a Day habilitation program role serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with planning a variety of daily activities, promote structure, community integration, and well-being.

Engage in conversation, develop lasting relationships, help with everyday living skills, and foster independent choices. Requirements include being 18+, HS diploma, valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and good

Qualifications

• 18 years of age.
• Minimum Education of High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good written and verbal communications are needed.
• Previous experience working with individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities preferred.
• Background check.

Assist with planning a variety of daily activities. Community activities may include options such as lunch outings, visiting local parks, working out at the gym, and volunteering at the food pantry. You may assist with developing skills in gardening, cooking, baking, dancing, arts and crafts, playing games, and communication. Engage in conversation with the individuals we serve and develop lasting relationships while promoting personal growth and making choices, assist with developing everyday living skills, and help develop coping skills.
