Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Raleigh, NC to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live independently and safely.

Starting pay is $15.40–$16.50 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments when averaging 20+ hours/week; flexible full-time and part-time schedules; paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
