Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Raleigh, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

You will build meaningful relationships, document activities, and collaborate with families and case managers while receiving paid training and weekly pay. This role offers growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background, driving history, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintaining schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
