Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Boonton, NJ to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live independently.

The role offers flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for advancement within a team-oriented environment. A $23–$33 hourly range and a $1,000 signing bonus are highlighted.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – paid training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintaining schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
