Job summary

Abound Health seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist an individual in the New Wilmington area with high-level personal care, mobility transfers, and supervision. This part-time role requires comfort with medical routines and strong lifting capability.

Paid training, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling are offered. Ideal candidates have healthcare caregiving experience, are 18+, and can pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background and health registry checks.
• Willingness to complete paid onboarding and ongoing mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential, hands-on health and daily living support to ensure client safety and independence.
• Assist with mobility transfers and personal care needs, including bathing and hygiene.
• Manage tube-feeding/medical routines and monitor health and seizure activity.
• Support client communication using an iPad or non-verbal cues.
• Record daily services and maintain clear communication with families and Abound team.
