Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Walton Hills, OH. The role offers paid training and a pathway to a healthcare career, with emphasis on empowering individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes.

Training for CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration is provided, along with an orientation and a benefits package for full-time staff. Immediate start and a variety of schedules apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
• Reliable vehicle with active insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence, choice and safety.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in daily activities.
• Complete household tasks including meal prep and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance.
• Offer companionship and caregiving support.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

A Great Opportunity / $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

At ViaQuest ICFs, our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required!

Requirements for this position include (What You'll Need)

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
  • Motor Vehicle Record must specific requirements including (but not limited to):
  • No OVI/DUI's, reckless operations, or speeding violations more than 20 MPH over posted limit
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years or more than 5 points
• Reliable vehicle with active insurance
• Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and assist individuals as needed
