Job summary

Easter Seals Southern California, Inc. is seeking a care-focused professional to support residents in a residential facility in Norwalk, CA. You will provide personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and help monitor medications as part of IPP/ISP-driven goals.

The role requires 1-2 years of experience, HS diploma, and certifications in DSP-I/II, CPR, CPI and First Aid. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 70 pounds are also needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• DSP-I and DSP-II certifications required.

• 1-2 years’ experience; or equivalent training/education.
• Ability to pass post-offer medical and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents (eating, hygiene, showering, bedtime prep).
• Assist in planning daily activities to develop living skills per IPP/ISP goals.
• Administer and monitor medications (may include suppositories).
• Transport residents to health appointments and other locations.
• Assist and/or prepare meals per dietary restrictions; assist with G-tube feeding.
