Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Pomona, CA is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP I) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community. This full-time role offers a PM shift and an $18.00 per hour wage.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, and community participation while following IPP routines, ensuring safety and dignity for those you serve.

Qualifications

• DSP Year 1 Certifications (per Title 17)
• First Aid / CPR
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification - we can provide
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including background check

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement daily routines per the IPP
• Assist with bathroom needs and personal hygiene
• Change undergarments or clothing when necessary
• Prepare meals and assist with cleanup
• Provide safe transportation in company vehicles as needed
• Support health, safety, and well-being at all times
• Advocate for individuals and promote their independence and quality of life.

• Shifts Available:

  • Monday - Friday (PM)

What You’ll Do (DSP I Duties)

As a Direct Support Professional, you will support individuals in daily living, personal care, and community participation. Your goal is to help each person live as independently, safely, and joyfully as possible.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assist with bathroom needs and personal hygiene

• Change undergarments or clothing when necessary

Required Education & Experience

• DSP Year 1 Certifications (per Title 17)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
