Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Operations Shift Supervisor at Fort Irwin, CA, to support the Deep Space Network (DSN) Operations and Maintenance contract with JPL and NASA. The role requires leadership over shift operations, coordination of personnel, and strict adherence to safety and operational procedures.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day DSN tracking schedules, liaison on complex site issues during shifts, and ensure data flow integrity for mission support.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with potential lead experience.
• Valid California driver's license and ability to obtain clearance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees daily DSN tracking schedule operations.
• Acts as single point of contact for operations issues at complex sites during shifts.
• Follows safety procedures and documentation during operations control.
• Completes station operations paperwork, logs, and discrepancy reports.
• Maintains awareness of personnel access at antennas during operations.
• Provides direction and support to all Ops personnel.
• Handles additional duties as directed by the Operations Manager.
• Represents the Operations Manager when designated.
