The State of Washington is seeking Food Service Supervisors for the Special Commitment Center in Steilacoom. This role involves overseeing food handling, ensuring safety and sanitation, and providing training to resident workers. Applicants should have supervisory experience and a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Additional pay and benefits are offered.
The Special Commitment Center is seeking two Food Service Supervisors to join the team at Steilacoom, WA. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with state service! As the Food Service Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, elimination of safety hazards, proper care and use of equipment in the dining area and kitchen, and inspecting food inventory for proper rotation and usage.
SCC employees also receive an additional $10 per day premium pay in addition to the advertised salary, and a free ORCA card for transportation use. Ferry transportation is provided to McNeil Island employees.
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
