The Background Check Central Unit conducts more than 330,000 background checks each year for DSHS programs and authorized service providers who serve Washington’s vulnerable adults, juveniles, and children. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to customers using our online Background Check System (BCS), including support with activating accounts, logging in, submitting background checks, and adding additional users.
This position is currently eligible for telework and requires working in the office at least two days per week. Telework eligibility and in-office requirements may change based on business needs.

Additional requirement: You must successfully pass a proficiency test demonstrating a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute (WPM), excluding errors.
Note: Two years of post-secondary education and/or an AA degree may substitute for experience.
