Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a detail-oriented team member responsible for the proper receiving of Direct Store Delivery products and adherence to Food Lion policies. The role emphasizes accurate handling of merchandise, efficient customer service, and loss prevention.

You will work with store leadership to ensure smooth operations, promotions, and safety compliance. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Protect assets through proper receipt and return of DSD product and follow vendor policies.
• Work with vendors to resolve errors, policy violations or excessive inventory.
• Ensure timely promotions and implement merchandising notes from weekly briefs.
• Verify DSD plan-o-grams and manage daily/weekly tickets and invoices.
• Follow CAO/ACIS processes and keep safety and company guidelines.
• Report accidents and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
