Job summary

Easterseals Iowa is seeking a Daily SCL House Manager to oversee operations and client goal development across multiple DSCL sites. You will empower clients to achieve independence while coordinating with DSPs and care teams.

Responsibilities include scheduling, supervision, in-home training, and facilitating community activities. Must have 1 year of direct care experience and be able to obtain required certifications and a Iowa Chauffeur's license as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of direct care experience, preferably with disabilities.
• Reliable transportation and valid driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Experience with Word and Excel; able to use Easterseals database.
• Ability to make independent decisions and handle emergencies per policy.
• Medication management responsibilities as needed.
• Willingness to obtain Medication Manager Certification within 90 days.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends/evenings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Iowa Chauffeur's license as requested.
• Mandatory Reporter of Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training within 30 days.
• CPR, First Aid, and agency trainings within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of DSCL sites and client goals.
• Coordinate daily schedules, medical appointments, and activities.
• Support DSPs with training and mentorship.
• Bridge communication between clients, care teams, and guardians.
• Attend annual assessments and team meetings.
• Ensure documentation meets productivity standards.
• Provide community referrals and maintain program links.
• Maintain client safety during activities and transportation.
