Job description

This position is an essential part of Sherwin’s distribution network. It safely loads and unloads trucks, accurately picks paint and paint-related product orders, and ships product orders to customers. The role involves moving materials within the facility and from the loading platform using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other handling equipment. Additionally, the role requires safe operation of forklifts or machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, picking, sorting, packing, and transporting products.

Weekends A: Saturday-Tuesday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm

Weekend role, 4 days, 10-hour shifts

This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses according to company plans.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in manufacturing or distribution
• Experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors, or order pickers
• Experience operating stationary power equipment like conveyors, hoists, or farm/construction equipment
• Experience with order picking, data entry, and barcode scanning
• Experience working as a picker or packer in a warehouse or distribution center

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick and process orders
• Package and ship orders correctly
• Organize stock and maintain inventory levels
• Inspect products for defects or damages
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments
• Receive, unload, and store inventory properly
• Operate warehouse robots and equipment
• Coordinate site damage/re-pour areas
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Suggest improvements for warehousing procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse daily
