Job summary

Dakota Sioux Casino & Hotel is seeking a dual-rate Table Game Supervisor who will handle deal duties and supervision. You will oversee games, ensure professionalism, and settle disputes while managing schedules and training for new dealers.

Candidates should have at least two years of table games experience, supervisory training, and knowledge of Blackjack, Poker, and Craps. A Key Gaming License is required, along with strong communication and attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Two-year table games experience required.
• Supervisory training or prior supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of games offered at Dakota Sioux Casino & Hotel (Black Jack, various Poker games, Craps).
• Must obtain a Key Gaming License; strong handling of diverse people and situations; excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Protect assets and integrity; oversee games in progress when on duty.
• Supervise employees for professionalism, game speed, accuracy, guest relations, and policy compliance.
• Settle disputes for customers or dealers promptly and fairly.
• Prepare work schedules.
• Train new Table Game Dealers.
• Maintain chip inventories on tables.
• Maintain guest relations to maximize entertainment value.
• Handle paperwork such as impress banks, shift changes, fills, shift reports, player tracking, inventories, Title 31 information; obtain department keys.
• Deal Table Games when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

This position is a dual rate position, meaning there will be times you deal and times you will supervise.

Duties And Repsonsibilities

• Protect the assets and integrity of Dakota Sioux Casino by ensuring that fair and honest game are being operated at all times. Oversee the games in progress when on duty.
• Supervise employees for professionalism, game speed, accuracy, guest relations, and compliance to policies.
• Settle disputes for customer or dealers in a fair and timely manner.
• Prepare work schedules.
• Perform training for new Table Game Dealers.
• Maintain proper chip inventories on the tables.
• Maintain guest relations to ensure the best entertainment value possible for all customers.
• Maintain all necessary paperwork such as: impress banks, shift changes, fills, shift reports, player tracking, exact inventories of cards at all times and Title 31 information. Able to obtain all keys for the department.
• Deal Table Games when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of two-year table games experience. Must have supervisory training or prior experience. Must have knowledge in the games played at Dakota Sioux Casino & Hotel; such as Black Jack, different Poker Games, and Craps.

Other

Must obtain a Key Gaming License, Ability to handle diverse situations/or people, Effective communication skills, Must demonstrate excellent attendance practices, and Must be able to work 8+ hours if necessary.
