Job summary

Dakota Sioux Casino & Hotel in Watertown, SD is seeking a Table Game Dealer to create a positive environment and manage gameplay. You will deal games so supervisors and Surveillance can track transactions accurately at all tables.

Candidate should have prior experience, be outgoing, and able to work under moderate stress. A Key Gaming License is required and attendance must be excellent.

Qualifications

  • Must have prior experience and knowledge of all forms of table games and rules.
  • Must be outgoing, mature, and able to work under moderate stress.
  • Must obtain a Key Gaming License.
  • Ability to handle diverse situations and people.
  • Must demonstrate excellent attendance practices.

Responsibilities

  • Create and Maintain a positive and friendly customer atmosphere.
  • Deal the game so that the Supervisor(s) and Surveillance can easily follow all transactions that take place on all tables.
  • Regulate the distribution of cards in licensed card games.
  • Schedule and announce games and openings during games at supervised tables.
  • Inform Supervisor(s) of any problems or disputes on the table(s) or with a customer.
  • Inform Supervisor(s) of any suspicious activity from a customer or employee.
  • Maintain banks.
  • Clean and Maintain all Table Game areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

Minimum Qualifications

Must have previous experience, Must be knowledgeable in all forms of Table Games and Table Game Rules. Must be outgoing, mature, and express ability to work under a moderate amount of stress.

Must obtain a Key Gaming License, Ability to handle diverse situations/or people, Effective communication skills, Must demonstrate excellent attendance practices, and Must be able to work 8+ hours if necessary.

Physical Requirements

Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, and reach; Sitting, standing or walking for extended periods of time.
