Job summary

Morgner Construction Management Corp. seeks a Design Manager for campus projects to lead the design process from planning through close-out and DSA certification, coordinating with CPT members, the Design Team and District stakeholders to meet project criteria and compliance.

The Design Manager will conduct QA/QC reviews of plans, specs and schedules, manage timely design deliverables, and guide the team through the DSA review process, including CCDs and submittals, to preserve design intent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in design or design management.
• 5 of the 10 years must be with projects requiring DSA or OSHPD Certification.
• BA/BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC review of plans, specs, schedules and other design documents for quality, constructability and clarity.
• Coordinate and manage timely production, review and sign-off of design deliverables.
• During construction, review CCDs for completeness and compliance with design intent.
• Guide the Design Team through the DSA review process and manage DSABox submittals.
