Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Drywall Project Manager to lead commercial and multifamily drywall initiatives in the San Jose region. You will manage scheduling, procurement, RFIs, and change orders from estimate through delivery, with a focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in drywall projects, strong leadership, and proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam. A Construction Management degree is preferred; this permanent role offers growth with a stable, expanding organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in drywall-focused construction management.
• Experience with metal framing and complex interior builds.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs.
• Proactive scheduling, budgeting, and change-order oversight.
• Strong procurement, RFI management, and contract administration.
• Leadership and client/team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of drywall projects, including scheduling and budget forecasting.
• Oversee procurement and ensure on-time material delivery.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and clients.
• Read blueprints and ensure conformance to specs.
• Track submittals and RFIs; maintain records.
• Administer contracts and ensure terms are met.
• Use Procore and Bluebeam to manage projects and communications.
• Lead construction crews to high quality and safety standards.
