Job summary

LeoForce, a union drywall/metal framing contractor, is seeking a Drywall Project Manager/Estimator to join our office and visit jobsites as needed. The role focuses on accurate estimates, coordinating teams, and delivering profitable projects ranging from $200K to $1.5M in LA County with expansion into Orange County.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of local commercial TI estimating/PM experience, knowledge of computerized estimating software, and preferably union shop background.

Qualifications

• 5 years of drywall/metal framing estimating/PM experience on local commercial TI projects.
• Computerized estimating software knowledge.
• Prefer union shop experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate/quality/competitive/profitable estimates, evaluate risks, proposals, specs/scopes/contracts/drawings/budgets, bid docs/strategies/deadlines, and follow estimating procedures
• Sub/material/vendor quotes, estimate handoff/job pre-planning, market evaluation, value engineering, and jobsite inspections
• Lead/coordinate projects/teams, sub/vendor relationships, produce quality work that is on schedule/profitable, resolve issues, prioritize/delegate tasks, and organize/track materials/resources
• Ensure project deadlines/efficiency, control job costs, project logs/docs, budget, jobsite safety, and schedule
• Will be based out of the office and visiting jobsites/clients as needed
• Projects are mostly commercial office TI and include metal framing, drywall, finishing, and some insulation

• 5 years of drywall/metal framing estimating/project management experience on local commercial TI projects, candidates can be APMs/Assistant Estimators that are ready for the next step
• Computerized estimating software knowledge
• Prefer union shop experience
