Position Title: Drywall Estimator and Project Manager

This role requires a professional who can effectively estimate and manage projects within the commercial drywall industry. The individual will be responsible for bidding on projects, ordering materials, and overseeing project execution from start to finish. Collaboration with clients and architects ensures projects meet budgetary and scheduling requirements. The successful candidate will navigate multiple projects while demonstrating strong communication and time management skills. This role offers opportunities for growth within the organization, making it ideal for someone eager to advance in project management.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 / Year DOE

Responsibilities

• Work with clients and architects for value engineering to optimize project costs
• Bid and estimate projects accurately
• Manage projects to ensure they align with the established schedule and budget
• Attend general contractor meetings as required
• Create and maintain project schedules

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating within the commercial drywall industry
• Experience in bidding metal stud framing projects that include sheet rock and acoustical ceilings
• Proficiency in Onscreen Takeoff or Plan Swift
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with technology
• Experience with projects valued between $250,000 and $500,000
• Exceptional time management and communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Must be insurable
• Field experience is preferred
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred
