Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in Kennewick, WA is seeking an experienced Drywall Project Manager for our Spokane operation. The role provides project management support for commercial projects and involves safety program adherence, schedule creation, subcontractor coordination, and cost control.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of interior construction experience, be proficient in estimating, project management, and reading drawings, and possess strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly Financial Analysis Worksheets (FAWs) and support cost control.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage change orders and billings.
• Support customer relations and ensure QA/QC compliance.

Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced Drywall Project Manager for its PCI Spokane 554 operations, working at a satellite location in Kennewick, WA. This role provides project management support to commercial projects and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Actively participate in the safety plans and measures of the branch and assigned projects.
• Understand and follow all PCI guidelines related to the corporate safety program.
• Create and manage punch lists proactively.
• Understand and be accountable for the QA/QC measures outlined in the QA/QC program for assigned projects.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Have a clear understanding of building systems and how they relate to the building process.
• Navigate and coordinate activities to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Review quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules, coordinate with field supervisors and foremen, and communicate issues to negotiate the optimal position for our trade in the work sequence.
• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance; use this to maximize profits.
• Coordinate warranties and O&M manuals.
• Assist in selecting vendors and coordinating materials and equipment.
• Assist in the buyout of subcontractors, issue contracts, and proactively sequence and manage subcontractor work including billings and change orders.
• Complete and be accountable for job cost control measures through monthly Financial Analysis Worksheets (FAWs) on assigned projects.
• Support the branch through positive customer relations and active participation in the Customer Alignment Plan.

Salary Range: $94,000-$126,000 annual salary plus a non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Basic Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of construction management experience in interior construction.
• Experience with estimating, project management, and managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Ability to diagnose and process key information, recognize critical areas on the job that could impact profitability, and navigate the project to a successful outcome.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) is required.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, think critically, and problem-solve.
• Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as taught.

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Science or Construction Management.
• OSHA Certification.
