Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial drywall hanging experience preferred.
• Experience on commercial and federal construction projects preferred.
• Skilled in hanging drywall on walls, ceilings, and specialty applications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Familiarity with drywall installation tools and best practices.

• Perform layout, cutting, and installation of drywall for various applications.
• Coordinate with framers, finishers, and other trades to ensure proper sequencing and project completion.
• Inspect installed drywall to ensure proper alignment, fit, and quality standards are met.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other equipment required for drywall installation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

The Drywall Hanger is responsible for installing drywall panels on interior walls and ceilings for commercial and federal construction projects. • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working from scaffolding or lifts.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as required for project assignments.
