Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Rigging Estimator II for its Albany, NY operations. The role involves performing quantitative takeoffs, establishing labor productivity, and maintaining pricing relationships with vendors to support PCI scopes of work.

You will participate in bid reviews, contribute to customer alignment, and handle contract administration for secured projects. Strong reading of specs and drawings, plus proficiency with estimating software, is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience estimating construction projects.
• Experience with estimating or managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimates.
• Maintain relationships with area vendors for pricing.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for non-self-performed work.
• Understand market conditions to establish margins.
• Participate in internal bid reviews with supervisors.
• Support customer alignment and positive relations.
• Handle contract administration for secured projects.
• Utilize wage and benefit schedules.
• Handoff secured projects to Operations team.
• Assist with change orders and billings as needed.
