Sid Grinker Restoration is looking for a skilled drywall finisher and painter to join our restoration team in Wisconsin. You will finish drywall surfaces, apply primers and paints, and prepare surfaces while following safety guidelines and project specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of drywall finishing and painting experience, can read blueprints, and work well in a team. This role may require on-call shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on high-quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years of experience as a drywall finisher and painter.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good knowledge of the tools, materials, and methods used in drywall and ceiling finishing.
• Ability to interpret construction blueprints.
• Knowledge of the applicable safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Position requires
• Ability to be on call for emergencies

Responsibilities

• Finish drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth, even, and professional appearance.
• Apply primer, paint, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and surfaces in restoration projects.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching imperfections.
• Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete projects on time and within scope.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and ensure a clean work environment
