BNBuilders in Irvine, CA seeks a Drywall Estimator to provide preconstruction support for self-perform projects, including framing, drywall and insulation. You will generate detailed quantity surveys, evaluate production, and price materials and equipment from project plans and specs.

In this role, you will attend preconstruction meetings, discuss scope clearly during estimate reviews, and prepare estimate turnover packages for project managers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years or more of experience in the commercial drywall industry.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to effectively manage multiple tasks under differing deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and clients.

Responsabilités

• Prepare consistently accurate, detailed, quantity surveys.
• Independently prepare complete self-perform cost estimate packages for projects.
• Attend preconstruction meetings to learn project information, estimating deadlines and deliverables.
• Able to discuss project scope clearly and effectively during estimate review.
• Prepare and submit pre-bid RFI’s for scope clarifications.
• Prepare variance reports to identify the cost deltas at each budget update.
• Identify cost-savings opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with material manufacturers and vendors.
• Prepare estimate turnover packages for the self-perform project managers.
