Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator for its PCI New England 586 operations based in Boston, MA. This individual will be responsible for estimating projects involved in drywall, framing, acoustics, and interior finishes.

The role includes performing quantitative takeoffs, establishing labor productivities, vendor pricing, subcontractor sourcing, and active bid reviews with project teams.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years experience estimating construction projects.
• Experience with estimating or managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI scopes of work, materials, and methods.
• Record of establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimates.
• Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for pricing.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for work outside our self-performing group.
• Understand market conditions to establish margins.
