Job summary

Zeon Chemicals Inc. is seeking a Front Line Supervisor - Drying in Louisville, KY to lead shift production, ensure safety, and coordinate on-line activities.

The role oversees daily schedules, equipment readiness, and contractor coordination, with emphasis on maintaining quality and safety in a heavy manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will have Hazmat training and strong communication skills, and work within a unionized team with rotating 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication across all organizational levels.
• Trained in hazardous materials response (40-hour Hazmat class).

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety adherence and improve plant safety and 5S.
• Schedule and monitor daily production.
• Communicate daily production schedule to operators in polymerization.
• Provide direct supervision to unionized team members.
• Guide operators for equipment setup.
• Troubleshoot maintenance problems and improve productivity and quality.
• Certify and re-certify operators in their roles.
• Partner with Foreman in other departments.
• Enter payroll information into ADP system.
