Job summary

You will schedule work, monitor equipment, direct unionized operators, coordinate emergency response with outside agencies, and oversee payroll data entry in ADP. Hazmat training (40-hour) is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are required due to interface with all levels of the organization.
• 40-hour Hazmat class training is required.
• Plant environment is noisy with exposure to fumes and dust; safety is critical.
• Significant time will be spent walking in the plant including stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift production daily to ensure safe, efficient operations and quality output.
• Schedule and monitor daily production; communicate schedule to operators in polymerization.
• Coordinate emergency response with outside agencies and with the Foreman.
• Direct supervision of unionized operators; guide equipment setup and maintenance troubleshooting.
• Enter payroll information into ADP system.
