Job summary

Post Holdings, Inc. Wakefield facility is seeking a Dryer Packager to responsibly package, seal, label and stack finished product while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

You will follow batch records, read POs, follow SAP procedures, perform inspections, monitor quality, and support maintenance with basic troubleshooting in a fast-paced production setting. This role requires adherence to GMPs, safety rules, and proper documentation. Weekend, holiday, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification. Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret English-language documents; write routine reports; speak before groups.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and perform basic arithmetic with money/weights.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Demonstrates open and honest communication.
• Maintains positive interpersonal relations and works well with others.
• Able to lift 50 lbs safely.
• Able to stand for long periods and move across uneven surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment cleanliness and sanitation of dryer areas.
• Maintain master sanitation schedules for dryer areas.
• Verify final weights of finished products.
• Package, seal, label and stack finished product.
• Read and follow batch records and related documents.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections.
• Monitor OEE targets for the product produced.
• Verify production documents with supervisor at shift end.
• Perform hourly case weight checks and address issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance for mechanical troubleshooting.
• Follow startup and shutdown procedures.
• Monitor packaging crew quality and correct deficiencies.
• Read POs and follow SAP report procedures.
• Perform metal detector checks as required.
• Communicate effectively at shift hand-offs.
• Follow SOPs; maintain GMP and sanitary conditions.
• Adhere to safety policies and promote safety as a core value.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
