Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Dryer Operator III to manage the whey permeate/protein dryer and a Custom Dryer. You will ensure optimal daily performance, quality of permeate, protein, and powder production while following GMP, SOP, and HACCP guidelines.

Starting at $28.70/hour with a $1.50 night differential, this role offers two pay increases in the first year, benefits including medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) match up to 7%, and generous PTO with holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Minimum four (4) years of related experience required.
• Ability to read and follow GMP, SOP, SDS, GMP, HACCP procedures and documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in daily operations.
• Basic math and computer skills; capable of recording data and documenting results.

Responsibilities

• Operate whey permeate/protein dryer and Custom Dryer daily.
• Complete documentation in a timely, accurate manner.
• Follow GMP, SOP and HACCP programs at all times.
• Monitor processes, materials and surroundings; report deviations.
• Perform operator-level maintenance when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Record readings and package finished product as directed.
• Ensure safety, efficiency and quality of all operations.
• Support training of junior operators and assist team as needed.
