• Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and required documentation.
• Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly.

Responsibilities

• Operate the whey permeate dryer and ensure optimal daily production of permeate and protein powder.
• Perform daily operations and cleaning of equipment; assist with operator level maintenance.
• Ensure safe operation and sanitation of equipment.
• Sustain and support automated systems and controls.
• Follow SOPs and Master Sanitation Schedules.

How your role contributes to that mission:

We are looking for a Dryer Operator II in Jerome, ID. The Dryer Operator is responsible for operating the whey permeate dryer and ensuring optimum daily performance and quality permeate and protein powder production.

• Perform daily operations and cleaning of equipment associated with the dryer operation.
• Perform operator level maintenance when needed.
• Safe operation and sanitation of equipment.
• Sustain and support automated systems.
• Follow procedures and work instructions set forth through SOP's and Master Sanitation Schedules.
