Job summary

Agropur is hiring a Dry Packaging Operator I in Jerome, ID. The role focuses on packaging products safely and according to quality standards. You will operate and support automated packaging lines, label products accurately, and maintain clean packaging areas.

Starting wage is $20.33 per hour with two pay increases within the first year up to $1.00, plus a $1.50 shift differential and Sundays double time. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including medical, dental, vision, life, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
• Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.
• Decisions administered soundly and consistently with policies and in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.

• Fill bags/totes and ensure proper labeling.
• Seal bags/totes.
• Sustain and support automated systems.
• Clean and sanitize all parts of packaging department including walls, floors, and equipment.
