Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Jerome, ID to perform routine and breakdown maintenance on processing and packaging equipment, ensuring the plant runs safely and in compliance with all rules and regulations.

You will respond to emergency repairs, prepare machinery for scheduled production, and contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient facility. This role offers strong growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and breakdown maintenance on processing and packaging equipment in accordance with SOPs, GMPs, and safety policies.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment during production.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.

How your role contributes to that mission:

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician in Jerome, ID. The Maintenance Technician I performs routine and break down maintenance on processing and packaging equipment, and is responsible for keeping the plant running and in compliance with all rules and regulations by using safe methods of equipment repair/upkeep.

• Efficiently perform regular and preventative maintenance related to the plant, equipment, and grounds in compliance with standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safety policies as enforced by OSHA.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment during the production process as needed.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
