Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. in Wayland, MI is seeking a Dryer 2 Material Handler for a full-time, 1st shift position on Thursdays through Monday, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

Responsibilities include operating a sit-down forklift, reading production schedules, supplying components to workstations, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, LOTO, and food safety programs. • Be able to learn to operate lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be able to read a production schedule and supply components and ingredients to the proper workstations without interruptions to production.
• Must be able to keep accurate and legible records.
• Must be able to keep up speed to keep dryer in operation.
• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP'S, SOP's, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods.

About the Role:

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Important Details:

This is a full-time position on 1st shift, working Thursday through Monday with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

• 1st shift operates 8am to 4pm

About You:

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience with operating a sit-down forklift
• The ability to work overtime and weekends
