Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is hiring a full-time 2nd shift Dryer 2 Material Handler in Michigan (Wayland). The role involves operating a sit-down forklift, reading production schedules, and supplying components to workstations while maintaining accurate records.

You will work 2nd shift (4pm–12am, Thu–Mon) with Tuesdays/Wednesdays off, and receive shift differentials. Applicants should have forklift experience, the ability to work overtime and weekends, and a commitment to food safety and quality under

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift and basic warehouse tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules.
• Strong record-keeping abilities and attention to detail.
• Commitment to GMP, SOP, HACCP, LOTO and food safety requirements.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate lift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Read production schedules and supply components to proper workstations without interruptions.
• Keep accurate logs and records for production tracking.
• Maintain pace to keep the dryer running smoothly.
• Adhere to GMP, SOP, HACCP, LOTO and TreeHouse Foods safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Be able to learn to operate lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be able to read a production schedule and supply components and ingredients to the proper workstations without interruptions to production.
• Must be able to keep accurate and legible records.
• Must be able to keep up speed to keep dryer in operation.
• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, SOP’s, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Important Details

This is a full-time position on 2nd shift, working Thursday through Monday with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

• 2nd shift operates 4pm to 12am

Shift differential included for 2nd and 3rd shift.

About You

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience with operating a sit-down forklift
• The ability to work overtime and weekends
