Job summary

Drybar in Tempe, AZ is hiring retail sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and create a fun, party-like atmosphere at the shop.

As a bartender-style sales associate, you will guide clients through check-in to check-out, troubleshoot reservations, adjust profiles, and optimize appointments while keeping the space clean and inviting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a fast-paced, customer service-centric environment.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems strongly preferred.
• Salon/spa experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Present a professional and brand-appropriate image.

Responsibilities

• Lead the client experience from check-in to check-out, upholding Drybar standards and creating a memorable visit.
• Set the tone of a positive shop atmosphere by treating the day as a hosted event.
• Troubleshoot reservation system issues, update Client Profiles, optimize appointments, and review notes to meet client needs.
• Maintain shop cleanliness by performing walkthroughs behind the bar and at the front desk.

Here is what Drybar Bartenders (retail sales associates / customer service representatives) are responsible for each day

• As a store associate, leading the client’s experience from check in to check out, ensuring Drybar standards are upheld, creating a memorable experience for the client.
• Setting the tone of a positive shop atmosphere by approaching the day as if hosting a party.
• Troubleshooting any reservation system issues, make changes to Client Profiles, optimize appointments to fit business needs, and check notes to ensure clients’ needs are met.
• Maintaining overall shop cleanliness by conducting walkthroughs behind the bar and keeping the front desk area clean.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a fast paced, customer service centric environment (sales associate, retail sales associate, customer service representative, store associate, salon associate, or a similar position)
• Previous experience with Point of Sale Systems strongly preferred
• Previous salon/spa experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Promote a professional and brand-appropriate image
• Frequently required to stand and/or walk for duration of 6-8 hour long shifts
