Job summary

FGF Brands in Brownsburg, IN seeks a Dry Warehouse / Forklift Warehouse worker for a third shift. You will control receipt, storage and use of raw materials, prioritizing safety and efficiency. Forklift operations, inventory tasks and data entry via Excel/SAP are part of daily duties.

Strong teamwork and communication are essential; experience with OSHA, BRC and GMPs is valued. This position offers growth through leadership training and competitive benefits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work assigned hours, including overtime.
• Proficient with SAP and RF Gun; able to perform arithmetic and routine reports.
• Read, write and understand instructions in English; good interpersonal skills.
• Experience with OSHA, BRC Standards and Warehouse GMPs is preferred.

Overview

As a team member, the Dry Warehouse / Forklift Warehouse worker controls the receipt, storage, and use of raw materials in the facility. They prioritize personnel and food safety at all times. This is a third shift position.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year work experience. Warehouse experience preferred.
• Must have HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work assigned hours, including overtime.
• Computer proficiency with SAP and RF Gun and the ability to make arithmetic calculations, complete routine reports and forms, and the ability to understand and follow directions as given are also necessary.
• Good verbal and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must work closely with others in a team atmosphere.
• Must be able to read, write and understand instructions, warnings, labels and postings in English effectively.
• Experience with OSHA regulations, BRC Standards and Warehouse GMPs
• A good grasp of inventory management (cycle counting, materials management, etc.)
• Act, react and interact with respect and regard for others.
• Ability to anticipate what needs to be done & commits to take ownership to ensure it is done.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet changing priorities with urgency in a fast-paced shipping environment
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills, and teach others by sharing knowledge to grow self and the business
• Courage to challenge the status quo, embrace changes and decisions that drive progress
• Strong understanding of sanitation, food handling, and food safety practices in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Must have prior experience and be certified on Standup Lift, and Sit-down lift.
• Be able to operate a battery changer and adhering to the PPE processes while working around batteries.
