Job summary

FGF Brands is seeking a third shift Dry Warehouse forklift operator to manage receipt, storage, and use of raw materials with safety at the forefront.

You’ll load/unload trucks, label and store ingredients, and support inventory controls while maintaining productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced setting. Prior forklift certification and SAP proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience; forklift preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Able to work assigned hours, including overtime.
• Computer proficiency with SAP and RF Scanners.
• Good verbal and interpersonal skills in a team setting.
• Read, write and understand English instructions and warnings.
• Knowledge of cycle counting and inventory management helpful.
• Experience with sanitation and food safety in manufacturing is a plus.
• Certified on Standup and Sit-down lifts is required.
• Operate battery changer and follow PPE rules around batteries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production needs and ensure timely material flow.

• Monitor Minors bins/Schick system and cycle counts.
• Ensure fast, safe work pace and accurate inventory

Third Shift Dry Warehouse- Forklift Operator

FGF Brands is currently hiring a third shift warehouse forklift operator to join our growing team.

Position Summary

As a team member, the Dry Warehouse / Forklift Warehouse worker controls the receipt, storage, and use of raw materials in the facility. They prioritize personnel and food safety at all times.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain production needs
• Maintain and monitor Minors bins/Schick system
• Be responsible for all bulk ingredient hook ups and sign offs
• Unload / load trucks of ingredients
• Label and put away ingredients
• Maintain a fast work pace
• Computer/ Microsoft Excel understanding
• Cycle counting and inventory monitoring

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year’s work experience. Warehouse experience preferred.
• Must have HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work assigned hours, including overtime.
• Computer proficiency with SAP and RF Scanner.
• Good verbal and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must work closely with others in a team atmosphere.
• Must be able to read, write and understand instructions, warnings, labels and postings in English effectively.
• Knowledge of inventory management (cycle counting, materials management, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet changing priorities with urgency in a fast-paced shipping environment.
• Understanding of sanitation, food handling, and food safety practices in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must have prior experience and be certified on Standup Lift, and Sit-down lift.
• Be able to operate a battery changer and adhering to the PPE processes while working around batteries.
