Job summary

Agropur in Jerome, ID seeks a Cheese Packaging Lead to oversee the Cheese Packaging Department and train packagers on proper procedures for packaging and cleaning.

Starting wage is $23.89 per hour with night shift premium of $1.50 and Sunday double time, plus opportunities for raises and a comprehensive benefits package.

This role requires a High School Diploma and at least three years in a related field; strong reading of SOPs, GMPs, and related docs is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Oversee Cheese Packagers and operation of Cheese Packaging Department.
• Train packagers to follow proper procedures for the job.
• Ensure production stays on time and handle any production changes as they arise.
• Assist plant automation and mechanics to troubleshoot production problems and support operators and management.

How Your Role Contributes To That Mission

We are looking for a Cheese Packaging Lead in Jerome, ID. Cheese Packaging Lead is responsible for oversight of Cheese Packagers and the operation of Cheese Packaging Department. This position will train Cheese Packagers on proper procedures concerning packaging and cleaning within department.

• Starting pay $21.69
