Job summary

Intel Logic Technology Development is seeking an experienced engineer to advance the next generation of dry etch patterning as part of the Foundry Technology Development group. You will partner with Process Integration, Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, Yield/Defect Engineering, and suppliers to solve complex challenges and develop scalable solutions for high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum PhD or Master's/Bachelor's with relevant industry research or experience
  • Experience in dry etch semiconductor manufacturing preferred
  • Expertise in DOE and statistical analysis using JMP, Python, or MATLAB

Responsibilities

  • Drive technology development for future technology and high-volume manufacturing; provide process integration and equipment solutions.
  • Own and drive development of next-generation patterning processes, including architecture, optimization, and qualification.
  • Design and execute characterization plans; plan experiments (DOE) across development cycles.
  • Establish control systems to optimize production performance (SPC, alarms, governance).
