Job summary

Tower Semiconductor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment in our Texas facility. You will work with Equipment Engineers and the area Manager to resolve equipment and process issues, and help manage workload to meet production goals.

This role emphasizes troubleshooting, developing maintenance procedures, and participating in safety events.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate Degree or military electronics experience.
• 2+ years experience with LAM, Mattson, KLA, or TEL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to resolve equipment and process issues.
• Participate in area shift pass-down activities and manage workload to production priorities.
• Develop, document, and improve equipment maintenance procedures and systems.
• Interface with Senior Technicians and Engineers to support issue resolution.
• Perform routine maintenance on Dry Etch area systems.
• Participate in ERT/Safety events.
• Work within established procedures and follow instructions on semi-routine assignments.
