Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical training or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving.
Ability to learn complex equipment systems.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work in a cleanroom with PPE.
Able to pass medical exams if required.
Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and basic corrective maintenance on dry etch equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment problems using a structured approach.
Identify causes of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, gas delivery, and control-system issues.
Respond to equipment alarms and production‑impacting issues promptly.
Follow procedures, schematics, and troubleshooting guides.
Replace, clean, inspect, and adjust equipment components as directed.
Support equipment startups, shutdowns and qualifications.
Escalate complex or recurring issues to engineers or leadership.
Document troubleshooting activities, repairs, and equipment condition.
Work with engineers and technicians to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
