Job summary

Heartland Food Products Group is seeking a Blending Operator - Dry Blending for 1st and 2nd shifts at our Indianapolis plant. You will set up, operate and monitor blending equipment, follow approved recipes and contribute to safety, quality and production KPIs.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of mechanical manufacturing experience. Strong teamwork, data recording, and English communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of mechanical experience in manufacturing or maintenance.
• Good communication with operators and other team members.
• Ability to analyze data and make decisions.
• Strong teamwork and positive safety culture.
• Ability to operate computers and follow SOPs.
• Must read and follow English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend blending equipment per recipes.
• Record batch data such as ingredients, temperature, and cycle times.
• Maintain safety, quality, and cost targets on KPI dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and improve operation to hit efficiency targets.
• Clean and sanitize blenders and processing areas.
• Document permanent records accurately.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive tasks.
