Job summary

Hitec Power Protection seeks a resident project engineer to oversee DRUPS project design, procurement, and implementation for site-specific UPS power distribution systems. You will support service and sales teams, review specifications, and help prepare quotes.

You will witness factory and site tests, approve drawings, and supervise PLC changes during commissioning. Some travel is required to customer sites and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering projects from design through commissioning.
• Ability to review customer specs and prepare procurement quotes.
• Ability to coordinate with service and sales teams and train customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, equipment procurement, and implementation for DRUPS projects.
• Aide service with trouble calls and provide engineering support to sales.
• Approve submittals, drawings, and manuals; witness tests.
• Supervise on-site commissioning and PLC programming changes.
• Coordinate travel for site work and training with customers.
