Field Service Engineer – UPS / Critical Power Systems

Seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to support our growing team in delivering exceptional service for UPS and critical power systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with mission‑critical infrastructure across a variety of industries, including data centers and commercial facilities.

What You’ll Do

• Perform startup and commissioning of UPS and critical power equipment
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on single and multi‑module systems
• Troubleshoot and repair UPS systems, battery plants, switchgear, STS, PDUs, and related equipment
• Execute power audits and technical site evaluations
• Complete detailed field service, status, and critical action reports
• Support large‑scale installations and collaborate with internal teams and OEM partners
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed (including nights/weekends)
• Provide customer education on system operation and maintenance

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience with UPS systems and critical power equipment
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and electronic theory
• Experience with major UPS brands
• Ability to read and interpret single‑line diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Hands‑on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and field diagnostics
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel regionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree (or higher) in Electrical/Electronics or related field
• OEM certifications on UPS systems
• Experience with generators, ATS, and fire alarm systems
• Background in data centers or mission‑critical environments
