Job summary

Barnard College is seeking a part-time Digital Assistant - Graduate Assistant in New York City to support the maintenance and improvement of the College’s website. You will work with the Digital Associate to run quality-control audits, fix broken links, update profiles, and ensure accessibility per WCAG standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Drupal experience and content editing.
• HTML/CSS knowledge and web accessibility basics.
• Strong writing/editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain Drupal web pages.
• Handle content requests: text edits, images, documents, and layouts.
• Perform regular QA checks.
• Ensure WCAG accessibility and Barnard style/brand compliance.
• Optimize images and media for the web.
• Assist with site audits, migrations, and special projects.
• Document processes and support colleagues with basic Drupal questions.
• Other duties as needed.
