Job summary

Oregon State University’s UIT Digital Experience team seeks two part-time Accessibility Assistants to audit and improve campus digital content for accessibility. You will perform manual and automated testing, document findings, and collaborate with website owners to prioritize remediation.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university.
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible.
• Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard.
• International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified and still be considered “full-time” by USCIS.

Responsibilities

• Accessibility Testing & Auditing: conduct evaluations against WCAG 2.1 AA; use Monsido and testing tools to detect issues.
• Documentation & Reporting: record findings with WCAG references; translate to actionable remediation recommendations.
• Document Review and Remediation: review documents for accessibility improvements and flag complex issues for escalation.
• General Duties: attend meetings, learn, problem-solve, and support ongoing team initiatives.
