Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent instructional contractors to provide drumline and marching percussion enrichment services for K-12 students. This is a potential assignment, not an employee position.

Opportunities are on-site at partner schools and vary by assignment. Assignments include planning engaging sessions, teaching rhythm and ensemble performance, and adapting instruction to student levels and site requirements while maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits required by the assignment or site.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or leading activities with school-age students.
• Ability to communicate schedule issues promptly and clearly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging drumline sessions.
• Introduce students to rhythm, technique, ensemble performance, and musicianship.
• Adapt instruction based on student levels and site requirements.
• Support percussion technique development and performance preparation.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive learning environment.
• Complete a brief session completion form after each session.
• Follow site safety and equipment procedures.
